Hong Kong health authorities say a 56-year-old lung cancer patient infected with swine flu has died. The city's death toll now stands at 13.

The Queen Mary Hospital said in a statement late Friday that the man tested positive for the H1N1 virus last week after being hospitalized for chemotherapy.

The hospital said he died Thursday despite being treated with antivirals.

Hong Kong has confirmed 16,364 cases of swine flu since May.
