Malaysia confirmed two more cases of swine flu on Saturday, including a 15-year-old Australian tourist, bringing the country's total to seven.

The Australian girl arrived in Kuala Lumpur Friday with her mother and was hospitalized with a fever, which was detected by an airport scanner, said Hasan Abdul Rahman, the health ministry director of disease control.

The mother showed no symptoms but has been quarantined as a precaution, he told The Associated Press.

A 29-year-old Malaysian student who returned from New York on Wednesday later tested positive for the virus after developing cough and a sore throat, Hasan said.

Both patients are in stable condition, he said.

Authorities have urged passengers on both flights to report to the hospital, he said.

Five people with the disease remained in the hospital, while the other two patients recovered last month.

The World Health Organization says the disease has reached 69 countries and infected more than 22,000 people, causing 125 deaths.
